Family relatives said that on Sunday afternoon, Baba Yakubu had gone swimming in the river with his pals and his 12-year-old elder brother. But he never came home, which raised suspicions and prompted searches for him. The next day, the family received a distress call about the boy’s body floating in the river, which turned out to be his.
