The dramatic condition of inadequate social amenities is becoming more than a mouthful for the peace-loving folks of Ghana.
Government after government always fails at continuing national projects, aimed at creating development and transformation for all — very bizarre for an advanced Democratic state!
The average Ghanaian can not deny wondering why these projects often end up in the garbage cans, after investing a lot of resources and effort into them; could it be the lack of strategic planning or just sheer negligence?
The norm, currently, is that any government that comes into power ceases continuation of old projects established by the ‘ex-government’, which is not understandable.
Would the nation Ghana keep on witnessing her resources being flushed down the drain due to political apathy from Democratic governments?
Apart from the above, incessant power outages, locally dubbed as ‘Dumsor’ , has become rampant with no obvious measures to put a stop to the problem, leading to mass destruction of people’s electrical gadgets, and obstruction of many online businesses in Ghana.
Instead of embarking on endless campaigns for individual gains, the next government should concentrate on completing national projects and solving the energy crisis of the nation.
Nevertheless, Ghana still stands a chance of being set free from an apathetic regime, if the records are set straight from the roots.
