Retired Journalist, Aisha Sesay, Conceives At 46 After Many Years Of Battling Infertility

People often ask the reason behind certain delays and setbacks because they do not understand what timing is all about.

As the adage has it that there is time for everything, delays and setbacks should be seen as stepping stones to victory and not failure.

Childlessness is a situation whereby a woman is not in a position to conceive and carry a child in her womb.

There are many reasons this happens, it could be due to weak ovaries, inefficient fallopian tubes, or several abortions which leads to womb damage.

There may be other underlying factors which may prevent a woman from being pregnant, which can attributed to her spouse or genetic mishaps.

But, in most cases, the childless women are diagnosed and confirmed to not be the root cause along with their spouses; they could medically okay but still can not have children.

This is when everything has to be left in the hands of Fate and believe the child will come one day.

This was exactly the case of the beautiful and eloquent Ayisha Sesay who had struggled to carry a child of her own in her prime.

She used to work at CNN as a journalist and a news hostess until her retirement.

Finally, after having allowed Fate to happen, she gave birth to her first child at the age of 46, which is just so incredible.

There were no records of ailments; mother and child were healthy — which is a sense of encouragement to fellows going child-hunting to relax and wait for their own time.
