The just ended Fathers’ Day just brought to light some of the deeds of most father’s around the world, as to whether they did the right thing or not.
Fathers are supposed to take care of their children, nurture them and protect them from the world, leading them solidly.
When asked on what should be the perfect status of a father, 50 Cent, one of America’s best rappers, said he had never met his father, and intends to keep things that way.
According to the ‘Candy Shop’ hit maker, his mother raised him for as far as he could remember, acting as his father, and at the same time, performing her motherly duties.
50 Cent was just eight years old when his mother passed on, leaving him in the care of his grandfather.
He believes that he was left to make adult decisions at a tender age because his father never showed up or offered any help towards him.
“I was told I had a father. But I never got to meet him and I do not want to, especially, at this point in my life”, lamented 50 Cent.
The American rapper extended some advice to father’s out there to always be there for their children, and not come when they hear they have become successful in life, or when they need someone to look after them in their old age.
